Robbie Coltrane's appearance as Russian mobster Zukovsky marks him as one of the few supporting characters to appear in more than one movie. (He previously appeared in GoldenEye (1995).) Other characters to have been in a Bond movie more than once are Clifton James' Sheriff J.W. Pepper, who was in Agente 007 - Vivi e lascia morire (1973) and Agente 007 - L'uomo dalla pistola d'oro (1974), and "Jaws", played by Richard Kiel, who appeared in La spia che mi amava (1977) and Moonraker - Operazione spazio (1979). Also, Sylvia Trench, played by Eunice Gayson, who appeared in Agente 007 - Licenza di uccidere (1962) and A 007, dalla Russia con amore (1963).
