In this movie, Rexy sounds like the buck Tyrannosaurus from Il mondo perduto - Jurassic Park (1997) instead of her sounds from Jurassic Park (1993). It's likely this is the case because the filmmakers wanted Rexy to sound older, as she lived from the 1993 Isla Nublar Incident, which was twenty-two years ago. However, her original roar from Jurassic Park (1993) did not go unused. She issued her original call twice during her battle with the Indominus Rex.
