There are several interesting parallels between the villain Charles Muntz, and Charles A. Lindbergh. Both are named Charles, both were lauded adventurers who became persona non grata, disappearing from public sight after being publicly ridiculed, and both were aviators who captained airships named "The Spirit of _________."
