Many of the cast of this show and its spin-offs have a background in Broadway, Glee, or pop music, notably (on this show) John Barrowman, Colin Donnell, and Katie Cassidy. Despite the musicality of the cast, Arrow has not had a musical episode like The Flash episode Duet, which was a crossover with Supergirl, although John Barrowman did appear in that episode and sang a few songs.
