As of 2006, this film, along with Toy Story 2 (1999), are the only computer animated sequels to be released on VHS since VHS became obsolete in 2006. Starting with Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006) by Twentieth Century Fox/Blue Sky Studios, all of the other computer-animated sequels have only been released on DVD and Blu-ray.
