When Woody first reunites with Bo Peep, her sheep bring her various items they scavenge and think they can use. Of those items are the Grape Soda cap and safety pin from Up (2009) that Ellie used to pin the cap to l Carl's shirt. The soda cap pin becomes hugely important to Carl and at the end of the film he gives it to Russell as a token of his appreciation and friendship. Bo Peep has zero interest in the soda cap but, separately, praises the safety pin.
