A deleted scene that got cut due to time constraints involved the six Toa and Lhikan fighting against a flock of snake-like flying beasts called Lohrak. CGI models for the Lohrak were completed and can be viewed in the movie's "making of" featurette, and they also make a very brief cameo in the sequel. In this deleted scene, the Toa would have shown off their elemental abilities, controlling earth, stone, air, ice, water and fire, which they never once do in the completed film. The sequence would have ended with Vakama realizing he has to overcome his fears and assume leadership of the Toa.
