During an award function, child Ayesha Kapur received an award for the film and started calling Amitabh Bachchan "Amitabh" frequently. This did not go well with many as Amitabh Bachchan is the biggest star of Hindi cinema and is given a lot of respect. Rani Mukherjee, who won the Filmfare Best Actress award, referred him as Amitabh uncle with respect.
