The grand finale fight for this movie was shot on-location at Castle Kashan in Malibu, California. Sometimes known as "Hodge Castle" or "Malibu Castle". The ten thousand square-foot replica of a Scottish castle was also used for filming Autostop per il cielo (1984). A few months after this movie wrapped, the castle was completely destroyed by a wild fire.
