The film depicts Anne, Mary, and George's mother, Lady Elizabeth Boleyn as somewhat cold and unconcerned when it came to her children. In reality, she didn't approve of her children's reckless behavior due to the amount consequences that would occur, and she wanted them to properly settle down.
