Jamie Kellner, who was the head of Kids' WB! at the time, kept bringing up the TV series Buffy l'ammazzavampiri (1997) in early meetings and said doing a Batman TV series like that one would be more kid-friendly. However, most kids who watched Batman of the Future (1999) did not watch Buffy l'ammazzavampiri (1997).
