The introduction of the Wake Island's arsenal is accurate. They had six-5"/51 caliber coastal guns, taken from the USS Texas, and twelve 3"/50 caliber anti-aircraft guns. The guns were commanded by the 1st Marine Defense Battalion and included .30 caliber and .50 caliber machine guns, Browning Automatic Rifles, Springfield bolt-action rifles, grenades and pistols.
