At first, Miley Cyrus originally auditioned for the role of Lilly Truscott, but they thought she would be better for the part of Miley Stewart (Hannah Montana). However, after auditioning for Hannah Montana, she was told she was too young and could not be in the show, but a few weeks later, she got the call and was cast as Miley Stewart (Hannah Montana).
