Shortly after All My Children ended its run on ABC in September 2011, Chrishell Stause revealed in an interview that the show's ABC series finale was originally filmed with a conclusive ending featuring happy endings for all of the characters. When the show was licensed to the now-defunct production company Prospect Park to continue as a web series, the television finale was changed to end on a cliffhanger instead.
