In the scene where Caroline and April are meeting Gregg for lunch, they cross what is apparently Christopher Street where the original Stonewall Inn was located. The sign can be half seen in the background in red lights. This was about 10 years prior to the Stonewall Riots of 1969, the event that is credited as the start of the gay liberation movement. At the time this was filmed, it was called Bonnie's Stonewall Inn, and it was a bar and restaurant for general clientele. It did not become a gay bar until 1966.
