By 2018, with this movie's various rights well-known to have been a troubled legal minefield, this movie was by then officially part of the post-1986 MGM library via various agreements. The original aspect ratio version that ITV4 showed in mid 2018, has somewhat confusingly, no retro-fitted MGM and/or UA production company logos, as with other acquired libraries, but instead is officially now an Orion Pictures release, a company now also part of the MGM library. Its plausible that this is a deliberate decision to keep this movie seperate from the official MGM/Eon Productions/Danjaq James Bond canon, via a sister MGM-owned company.
