There were two follow up TV movie sequels: I Dream of Jeannie... Fifteen Years Later (1985) and I Still Dream of Jeannie (1991). Larry Hagman didn't reprise his role as Major Nelson in either one, due to his busy schedule, starring on Dallas (1978). Wayne Rogers plays Nelson in the first sequel, and Nelson, who is on a space mission, doesn't appear at all in the second.
