This series reunites actors Toby Regbo an Jaime Blackley after 7 years. In 2013 both actors starred as the leads of the "based on a true crime" drama UwantMe2KILLhim Interestingly there is a sort of role reversal this time round. In UWantMe2killhim Toby's character Luke is constantly manipulating Jaime's character Mark for his own ends. In Kingdom Jaime Blackley's Eardwulf is supposedly 'loyal' to Regbo's Aethelred but is only using him to get ahead.
