In possibly just a Studio Facilities booking coincidence, as they needed vast soundstages, and, presumably a flexible backlot option, parts of the film were shot at Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, UK, in the very same studio complex that was the former Rolls Royce factory, converted to a film studio called Leavesden Studios, originally for the James Bond film "GoldenEye".
