In a 1995 British television interview about her career, Carrie Fisher discussed the fact that her upbringing as the daughter of two movie stars gave her a background that very few others could relate to: "I'm alone, then. I've had such a weird, exotic, rare life. The only person that can relate to it is Jamie Lee Curtis. So what--are we going to meet once a week and discuss all this stuff? 'Yeah, my father was a womanizer and a junkie too! Wow!'" Both Jamie Lee Curtis and Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd, are now regulars on Scream Queens (2015).
