Although only used briefly in the duel between Anakin and Dooku, this is the first film in the series in which lightsabers reflect on surfaces. During the production of the original trilogy and the prequels, the lightsaber props usually had steel rods, and the beams were later added in post-production. Because of that, they lacked any reflections. It wasn't until Star Wars - Il risveglio della Forza (2015) that the lightsaber props were modified to allow the effect.
