Despite this presumably being their first face-to-face meeting, Sir Lockwood warmly greets Claire by saying how nice it is to see her again; James Cromwell previously played police chief dad, Capt. George Stacy to Bryce Dallas Howard's Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3 (2007). Like Chris Pratt's Emmet Brickowski, Pratt's Owen has a moment in which he awakens to full consciousness but unable to move, and then with an extreme effort he is able to roll and twist just enough to save himself.
