Freddy's sweater usually has 8 or 9 stripes across his body. However in the original, he has 11 stripes and none on his sleeves. This was because he was originally supposed to wear a sleeveless sweater-vest in early makeup tests but David B. Miller didn't like the look and put the vest over a red long-sleeve sweater.
