The restaurant in which Barney is working as a busboy is called The Cavern on the Green, a reference to The Tavern on the Green in Manhattan's Central Park. The Tavern on the Green is where Louis Tully, also played by Rick Moranis, is attacked and possessed by the Terror Dog form of Vinz Clortho (The Keymaster) in Ghostbusters (Acchiappafantasmi) (1984).
