Several cast members from the reality series Jersey Shore (2009) appear as fictional versions of themselves. It is clear the script was written by someone unfamiliar with the series, as it has the cast using Italian-American and New Jersey stereotypes that none of them have any history of using on their show. For example, Ronnie Magro was scripted to use the word "mook", an Italian-American slang word that is not uttered once in the entire run of the series by any cast member. Nicole Polizzi was also scripted to speak with a thick New Jersey accent, saying words such as "LawYA" (lawyer). She was actually born in Chile and raised in upstate New York and does not have an accent like this on "Jersey Shore" or in real life.
