This is not Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's first time playing a villain. He also played one as the character Lok-Nah, in La mummia - Il ritorno (2001), and also meets a grisly end in that movie as well. He also played a character in Il trono di spade (2011), like Clive Russell, who plays one of the Asgardian guards in this movie. Agbaje also went on to portray Killer Croc in Suicide Squad (2016) movie by David Ayer.
