Kerri Hoskins who play Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 3 (1995), Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (1995), Mortal Kombat Trilogy (1996) and Mortal Kombat 4 (1997) had too auditioned for the role of Sonya but did not "make the last cut of three girls" due to having no acting experience.
