Lisa Hanawalt, who illustrates the clothing for the show, said in an interview with People Style that her favorite character to dress is Sextina Aquafina. Her costume inspiration for the character comes from Transformers, Mad Max (1979), A Clockwork Orange (1971), and from designer Bradley Callahan who designs costumes for Azealia Banks.
