One of the movie posters for the PG-13 version "Once Upon a Deadpool" has caused controversy among the Mormons and Christians in Utah, for replacing Jesus Christ in the Second Coming painting by Harry Anderson, and putting in Deadpool as a parody of the Second Coming. There's even an online petition for having it removed due to claims for its sacrilegious themes.
