Jaimie Alexander and Luke Mitchell, who will play new character Roman, are both part of the Marvel Universe. Jaimie plays Lady Sif in the MCU, while Luke played inhuman Lincoln Campbell on Agents of Shield, which Jaimie also guest starred in. In addition, Michelle Hurd joins Season 2, and she was in Marvel's Daredevil (the Netflix series) while Ashley Johnson starred in The Avengers as Beth the Waitress. Both Marvel's Daredevil and The Avengers are also in the MCU.
