Dinkie's Drive-in Restaurant was patterned after "Dolores", the Sunset Strip classic from the 1950s. A piece of Americana, Dinkie's is a hangout for old-car buffs and nostalgia-minded teenagers who dress up in bobby sox, crew-cuts and ponytails and bop to Fats Domino's "I'm Gonna Be A Wheel Some Day".
