Composer Michael Giacchino wrote the main theme song 'The Batman' before the movie even went into production and while Matt Reeves was still writing the script. Reeves listened to it for the first time in his car with producer Dylan Clark before they went onto the stage to do Robert Pattinson's screen-test (the one with the red lighting that was released in January 2020).
