During the last week of shooting, William Lustig admitted to Randy Jurgensen that he couldn't make the payroll to finish. He could've made some of the payroll, but not all of it. According to Rutanya Alda she stated that "that if you got a check that day and you couldn't get to the bank on time, the check would bounce."
