Whereas Unbreakable - Il predestinato (2000) followed a man whose modest image of himself had blinded him to his true power; and Split (2016) explored the power of a monster created by a traumatized mind. This film is interested in the very essence of identity by asking a question: are we objectively what we are, or rather the physical result of what our minds shape and determine? Are you a superhero if you think you are.
