200.000 square feet of film sets were built incl. the recreation of three floors of the John Hancock Center, both for exterior and interior shots. The apartment was a set and the hallway and the staircase scenes were filmed on a set. The roof of the John Hancock Center was used extensively. The swimming pool scene was also filmed on location.
