The three actresses who passed away died in three consecutive calendar years. Estelle Getty died in 2008 at the age of 84, Bea Arthur died in 2009 at the age of 86, and Rue McClanahan, the youngest of the four, died in 2010 at the age of 76 giving her the shortest longevity. All of them were younger than Betty White, who celebrated turning 99 on January 17, 2021 and was only 4 months older than Bea Arthur. On December 31, 2021, Betty White passed away just 17 days before her 100th birthday.
