Second James Bond movie where the main villain is a woman after A 007, dalla Russia con amore (1963), though arguably in the latter it's still the man Blofeld who is the brains and primary instigator. Because of this, it is also the only James Bond movie (as of 2021) in which James Bond intentionally kills a leading Bond Girl who is a major love interest. Though his actions do lead to the deaths of Fiona Volpe in Agente 007 - Thunderball: operazione tuono (1965) and Xenia Onatopp in GoldenEye (1995), the fundamental difference is that in those two cases he was under direct threat and acted in self-defense, which is not the case here (and as such very much out of character for Bond).
