Despite owning 2 Soothe Bells at one point (and Ash's own virtues about being friends with Pokemon), Leavanny and Lucario are the only Pokemon under Ash's ownership to have evolved via happiness. Although Ash's Snorlax and Pikachu are also capable of evolving via happiness, they did not have pre-evolved forms at the time Ash obtained them and both are already evolved (though Pikachu is capable of evolving further). Meanwhile, Ash's friends, own or have previously owned Pokemon that do undergo a happiness evolution at some stage (Dawn with Buneary, Serena with Eevee, Lana with Eevee, Brock with Happiny and Golbat, Misty with Togepi and May with Eevee and Munchlax). Interestingly, all of these have evolved except Buneary, Lana's Eevee and May's Munchlax, though it is worth noting that May's Eevee and Serena's Eevee eventually evolved into Glaceon and Sylveon, respectively, rather than Espeon or Umbreon.
