Despite co-host Luke Thomas initially enjoying the film, UK Adam Sandler fan podcast The Sandler Pit considered the film one of Sandler's poorer offerings and, after some convincing arguements from fellow host Luke Terry, doomed the film to rot forever in their dreaded 'Sandler Pit' alongside Jack & Jill, Bedtime Stories and The Cobbler.
