The scene in which Columbus stands on top of an RV, directing Tallahassee and Wichita to which direction the zombies are coming from, came from the final battle in an early draft of Benvenuti a Zombieland (2009) which involved Columbus and Tallahassee doing the same thing at an abandoned gas station.
