In the film's finale, three other test subjects (Moussa, Nathan, and Lin) assist Callum in his escape and they all use their ancestor's weapons to fight the guards. Lin uses a rope dart and a boot hidden blade, notable weapons of the former Mentor of the Assassins in China, Shao Jun. Nathan uses what appears to be Duncan Walpole's cutlass from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (2013) (as well as a phantom blade from Assassin's Creed: Unity (2014)). Moussa uses poison bombs and has referred to his ancestor, Baptiste, by name earlier in the film. All of this information is indicative of the fact that these three are the descendants of Shao Jun from Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China (2015), of Duncan Walpole from AC IV: Black Flag, and Jean-Baptiste from Assassin's Creed III: Liberation (2012) (respectively.)
