The film's central plot and story (that of Musaddi, a school teacher, trying to prove that he is alive to get his pension) is based on the show's episode # 1 from the 1st season. Jokes like the pension office employees asking Musaddilal to prove that he is alive when in fact, he is asking them for pension; asking Musaddilal to bring any type of document to prove he is alive and Musaddilal slapping one of the corrupt pension officer are some of the sequences that can be seen in the film as well.
