Originally, there was another heroic character in this movie called "Rex", a super android who joins the monsters and battle the aliens to save the world. However, he was ultimately cut from this movie when the writers decided to make the "50,000 pound Woman" the new main protagonist, in which they renamed her as Ginormica (Susan Murphy).
