There were plans to release a theatrical movie for The Fairly Oddparents in the early 2000s, but it was canceled. According to show creator Butch Hartman, two scripts were written, but the movie was scrapped along with multiple other proposed films based on Nickelodeon shows due to changes at Paramount Pictures.
