Deleted scenes reveal that Dirk's parents were killed after being t-boned at an intersection near the home by a drunk driver -- Johnny Doe, the younger porn star that Dirk attempts to fight before being fired by Jack earlier in the film. Dirk finds this out in another deleted scene, where he shows up to his childhood home after escaping from Rahad Jackson, only to find that the home is occupied by his high school girlfriend, Sheryl Lynn.
