The first and only film directed by Bo Welch. Originally, his directorial debut was going to be the "Sprockets" movie that Mike Myers was going to do (Myers considered directing "Sprockets" himself, but he and the producers ultimately embraced the hiring of Welch because of his skill at set designing).
