This is technically Mauricio MejÃa's 2nd time portraying paramilitary leader Carlos Castaño in a TV series. The 1st time he played the role was in the Colombian TV series El Cartel de los Sapos (2008), with his role as Adolfo Aguilar, a character based on the real life Carlos Castaño.
