Ian Abercrombie plays Alfred Pennyworth. In Batman: The Animated Series, Clive Revill played the part before Efrem Zimbalist was cast. Revill also voiced the Emperor in The Empire Strikes Back (1980) while Abercrombie voiced the role on Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) until his death.
