In the final battle scene where the crew of Fury takes on the approaching Germans head on, it was totally unrealistic that this battle went on for as long as it did, when you consider the limitations of the fields of fire that the tank had, with a bow mounted machine gun next to the driver that may be could pivot 30° to 45° to the left and right and the slow rate of fire as well as the slow traverse rate of the cannon in the turret. With an estimated 200 to 300 German soldiers on foot, many armed with anti-tank Panzerfausts, it wouldn't have taken that long to recover from the initial shock of the tank opening fire on them and simply to direct about 5 to 10 soldiers to run towards and to the side in the opposite direction that the tank was firing until they got outside the angle that the bow machine gun was able to pivot, and literally take their time to stand either to the side or to the rear of the tank and shoot it full of holes with antitank rockets.
