A parody series from YouTube channel MKAtwood, entitled Pearl's Secret Rap Career, revolves around Steven discovering Pearl was a famous rapper before he was born, leading to him and other characters being haunted by the information. The song used in the videos is "L.A." by The Party, which features a rap verse from Pearl's voice actress, Deedee Magno Hall. The series gained so much popularity, later episodes actually feature Hall and Zach Callison (Steven) recording new dialogue, including a new song entitled "Steven's Secret Rap Career."
